Where Dreams Come True

Hey dolls, this weekend took me away from real life for a second and just reminded me that I am still some what of a kid. Disney World is my favorite place on Earth (besides airports). It amazes me how a theme park with actors dressed up as characters, hour long rides and overpriced food can bring someone so much joy. I am not sure if its all the money involved to make it look like a child's dream or knowing that thanks to Walt Disney my childhood has been so much better that makes this place amazing. I went with my family and my boyfriend and I had a blast, I didn't bring my camera because we only had one day to make the most of it and sadly an iPhone is just so much easier. I fully recommend Disney Work as a very nice and safe way to relieve stress ha ha. I can honestly say this was a much needed trip and now I can step back into reality with a better attitude.
Until next time

Miami Metropolitan International Fashion Week (belated post)

Hello Fashion lovers, this post is very much late but please forgive me for I was on vacation. This Past Thursday night (April 25th) I was presented the opportunity to participate in MMIFW (Miami Metropolitan International Fashion Week) I modeled and only attended on Thursday Night which was the night of Day Wear. There were many designers from all over, from Miami to Nigeria to Singapore this show had a lot to offer. I modeled "Anastasia Sagalovich Haute Couture" and "Pista a Jornada Creations Fashion Spot" and it all took place at SET Night Club. It was a really great show, location and awesome experience that hopefully I can relive next years. I hope all you Fashion lovers enjoy
Until Next Time

Saturday Mornings

Jean Jacket- DIY, White Shirt- ROSS, Black Circle Skirt- Cotton On, Steve Madden Purse, Holographic Heels- Pay less

Hello everyone, Today is my Grandmothers birthday and she's seventy five. It is crazy to think that my grandmother is that old and doesn't look a day over sixty. My Saturday mornings are relatively busy, I have class plus planning the BBQ that we were throwing for my Grandmother. This week has been hectic but not nearly as hectic for the week to come. This weekend is all about preparing me for the week ahead. This week I have also started working out and am really excited that summer is almost here and I can focus on working and a lot of things I have to do for my career. Well anyways I hope you all have a great day,

Happy Easter!

 What Im Wearing:

                                     Happy Easter Everyone!
Today was an interesting day, not the typical Easter Sunday. No one even lifted a finger to try and wake me but expected me to be ready by 12:30 (I am a little bit of a sleeper). Rushing and rushing to get to service by 12:45 we ran up to the doors to hear the news that our church was "filled to capacity". Yes, we should have gone to church a little more frequently this year and maybe we would of heard that the service was changed to 12:30 (yes my church becomes full to capacity in fifteen minutes). So this was my first Easter not going to church, which I do feel guilty about. We then "wiped our tears" and headed to lunch at one of my favorite places Bahama Breeze where I enjoyed a delicious Jerk Chicken Pasta, Homemade Lemonade and Banana Supreme (Banana Bread, a scoop of ice cream, Bananas and Butterscotch) it was heavenly. I hope you all have an amazing Easter and are all spending times with your family and appreciating everything around you.
Until next time

Squash Spaghetti

Hello Loves! Today I felt like a chef, I usually never cook or get near the kitchen. I usually eat some fast food which is really bad. I am now starting to really really watch what I eat I have gained a pretty significant amount of weight in the last few months and enough is enough! I am now serious about my diet and loosing weight. I might do a Youtube video or a blog post about it later. So today my mom was going to make pasta for everyone and I thought what a better time to start eating healthy than the present so I am going to share this delicious Squash Spaghetti with Carrot Sauce.

Spaghetti:
(serving 1)
1 squash
cut the squash in half and scrape out the inside with a fork
put squash on a pan at medium heat
drizzle olive oil
1tsp butter
add salt, pepper, and garlic powder
mix until cooked all the way

Carrot Sauce:
Ingredients:
4 carrots
4 celery sticks
2 onions
8 garlic cloves
2 cans of chopped tomatoes
Directions:
Shred carrots, chop up celery, onions, and garlic. Sauté onions and garlic with olive oil in a pot at medium heat, the add carrots, celery and tomatoes. Add salt and pepper and leaves it for about 20 minutes (mix it every few minutes) Once finished throw in a blender until left without huge tomato chucks
Dollop sauce on Squash and there you have it a delicious and HEALTHY meal!
Until next time

Neon and Crochet

Shorts- Local Boutique, Neon Tank- TJ Maxx, Sheer Gray Top- Forever 21, Platforms- TJ Maxx, Rings- Forever 21 and random places

Hello Loves!
Happy Saturday! Today I felt very alive and healthy so I decided to wear neon and lime green today! I feel like the mixture of these colors with a muted gray is perfect because it dulls it down. Today I went Garage Sale hunting in the morning and then went to class. I did a somewhat smokey eye and my hair was curly from yesterday still so I threw it into a high pony and for the first time I have successfully wrapped hair to cover my ponytail without it falling apart in five seconds. I hope you all have a great weekend! This is the start of my Spring Break and as you can tell from this outfit I am so Excited for Spring! Until the next post
